SanDisk 8GB Extreme SDHC Class 10 High Performance Memory Card I have an Nikon D90. I purchased the 8G San Disc Extreme III card 30MB/S and a Transcend 16G class 6 card at the same time. The San Disc Extreme 3 card is incredibly fast. I get 100 pictures (4.5 frames per second) at fine resolution before the camera slows to buffer in 24 seconds. The Transcend card gets 17 photos on the same settings then pauses to buffer and only delivers 25 shots in 24 seconds. The Transcend Class 10 card delivers 66 shots in 24 seconds.

Sandisk 8GB EXTREME III SDHC SD Card Class 6 (SDSDX3-8192 Bulk Package) its 8 Gigs and its fast. This card can hold tons of pictures around 1400 full size Jpgs from my 12.1 mp XSI. Only way this card would likely run out of space is if u never clean it or if u shoot all RAW all day. Even then it holds a lot. If u have the green for this card you won't be disappointed. Only card bigger is the 16 Gb.

The amazing performance of this memory card allowed the camera to keep using its buffer taking pictures at 4 frames per second for a period of at least 30 seconds (excellent lighting conditions). Hear the machine gun in your ear as you take your pictures at a sports event or at SeaWorld while dolphins jump out of the water and get a shot worth being published on Sports Illustrated. Wow! With its huge capacity, you will probably never need to carry another stick in your camera bag. I set the resolution at the highest level on the D90 and the indicator showed I could store 2,100 pictures in this memory card. Awesome!
